Butte County Behavioral Health: Crisis Services

Please call (530) 891-2810 for an intake appointment for Adult Services at Butte County Behavioral Health. A mental health provider will provide a phone screening, and either a referral to the community for appropriate services, a referral for appropriate Drug/Alcohol assessment, or referral for intake/assessment at Crisis Services to determine the level of care and appropriate referral to either longer term programs within Behavioral Health or brief therapy at Crisis Services. Crisis Services are also available at the Trevor Lifeline for LGBTQ youth and the Friendship Line for Older Adults Ages 60+ or Family and Friends. These both provide suicide prevention and counseling over the phone with trained counselors 24/7. The numbers are listed to the right in the phone directory.
